Market Setup
Setup is from Thursday 12:00hrs to 18:00hrs. Please don't arrive any earlier as we have no access
for Traders to the venue until then.
Access for set up on Friday will be from 07:30hrs until 10:00hrs by which time all stock must be in the
hall. If you arrive any later than this the Exhibition access roller shutter doors will be closed and
you will only have access through the pedestrian traders entrance. Please leave enough time to set up
before the market opens at 12:00hrs Friday. We are sorry but there can be no exceptions to this rule.
Large flat bed trolleys will be available for quick and easy unloading.
The hall will be set out ready for your arrival. Tables and Chairs booked will be provided. Electricity
will only be available to those who have requested, paid, and pre-booked this service. Please don't
decide you need electricity on the day as it will not be available.
Electric kettles and Gas cookers are not allowed in the hall. Discounted Refreshments for traders may be
obtained from the Restaraunt during Set up. No pets are allowed.
Parking
After unloading please move your vehicle immediately to the designated car park. Do not block
access for other trader's vehicles. When setting up, please try to keep aisles accessable at all times.
As this is a re-enactment event the goods you are selling should represent this. Please also
remember that the hall is a no smoking area. Once unloaded, one vehicle per Trader can be parked in the
Exhibitors parking area, all other Trading vehicles and assistants vehicles must be parked in public
Car Park. Please ensure your vehicle is displaying the completed Exhibitors Car Pass you will be
issued with if parked in the Exhibitors Car Park. Also, please complete the contact details to help us
find the owner in an emergency.
Sleeping
Unfortunately it is not possible for anyone to sleep on the site but the area is full of
Hotels, B&Bs and campsites. Please look for accomodation suggestions on the show website
or forum or contact Warwick or Leamington Spa tourist information for further assistance.
Insurance
Please note that as an individual trader you are legally required to have your own public liability
insurance. The Market Traders Federation can help you with this if required.
Layout and Stalls
We are currently re-designing the layout of the hall to use the space more efficiently and offer
more trading space to those who want it. We have managed to get all those wanting the same position as
October 2009, and who booked at the last show, into their requested trading area.
There will be a plan at the Control Centre in the Office, next to the public entrance to the Exhibition
Hall.
The floor plan can be downloaded
from the website. and a list of Trader names and their
locations will be available during the three days of the fair.
Please book in before you start your setup, to ensure you are in the right place before
setting out your stall.
Costume
When trading please wear costume appropriate to your period and goods. It adds immeasurably
to the overall spectacle of the event, and is a request from the Pike And Shot Tour & Event Company.
Traders Questions
We are happy to answer general queries and questions during the fair, so if you have any for the
Pike And Shot Tour & Event Company please write them down, and hand them over to the Control Centre,
and we will endeavour answer all enquiries as soon as possible.
We will keep the website as up to date as we can, with full details of traders who
will be at the Fairs and with contact details and links to the traders' websites where these are known.
However, as is the nature of things, Traders attending the Fair can change for any number of reasons
so please do feel free to call or mail for up-to-the-minute information on the next fair.
For more information on any aspect of the Fair please contact
01305 855817 or 07771 824495 and details of how to find the
location of the venue can be found on this link.
