Market Setup

Setup is from Thurday 12:00 noon. Please don't arrive any earlier as we have no access and there will not be anyone there to let you in to the venue. Access on Friday will be from 7:00am until 10:00am by which time all stock must be in the hall. If you arrive any later than this the doors will be closed and you will not have time to set up before the market opens. We are sorry but there can be no exceptions to this rule. Large flat bed trolleys are available for quick and easy unloading.

The hall will be set out ready for your arrival. Tables and Chairs will be provided. Electricity will only be available to those who have requested and pre-booked it and for the next fair these have already all been booked. Please don't decide you need electricity on the day as it will not be provided. Electric kettles and Gas cookers are not allowed in the hall. Refreshments may be obtained from the cafeteria. No pets are allowed.

Parking

When unloading please move your vehicle immediately to the trader car park. Do not block access for other vehicles. When setting up please try to keep aisles accessable at all times. As this is a re-enactment event the goods you are selling should represent this. Please also remember that the hall is a no smoking area. Once unloaded all cars, 4x4's and small vans must be parked in the field. Only vans of Transit size and above are to remain in the spaces near the hall.

Sleeping

Unfortunately it is not possible for anyone to sleep on the site but the area is full of Hotels, B&Bs and campsites. Please look for accomodation suggestions on the show website or forum or contact Warwick or Leamington Spa tourist information for further assistance.

Insurance

Please note that, although the show has insurance, you are, as an individual trader, expected to have your own public liability insurance.

Layout and Stalls

We have taken advantage of the extension to re-orientate the layout of the hall and use the space more efficiently. Most people are within spitting distance of where they were last year. Your names will be on the tables. There will also be a plan at the Control Centre in the middle of the hall near the loading doors. If we get time we will also have an additional version of this near the main entrance for the customers and visitors to the fair. It is not a good start for your weekend if you have to move all your stuff just when you think you have finished your setup so please make sure that you are in the right place before setting out your stall.

Costume

When trading please try to wear costume appropriate to your period and goods. It adds immesurably to the overall spectacle of the event.

Traders Questions

Whilst we are happy to answer general queries and questions during the fair we shall also be manning pur own stalls. If any trader has any questions for, or wishes to bring up any points at the Shareholders Meeting please hand them over to the Control Centre in the middle of the hall near the loading doors and they will be brought on your behalf.

We will endeavour answer all enquiries as soon as possible. We will also keep this website as up to date as we can, with full details of traders who will be at the Fairs, with contact details and links to the traders' websites where applicable. However, as is the nature of things, Traders attending the Fair can change for any number of reasons so please do feel free to call or mail for up-to-the-minute information on the next fair.

For more information on any aspect of the Fair please email Anne Farnsworth and a map of the location of the venue can be found here.
